I have a problem with nissan tiida 2005 ,after installing a alarm system the air bag light keeps on flasing despite of being recorded with dignostic machine could you pls help me on this

& make the required system repairs

Did your air bag deploy? If the air bag is missing the light will never go away. You MIGTH be able to find somone with a tuner tool to tell the computer to turn off the light.

Have the system checked for codes & diagnosed,
to find the faults

The air bag is turned off for now & won't protect you,
until the issue is corrected

You treat that the same as the last vehicle
problem or check light you had

Sounds like a faulty clock spring in you steer wheel. Take it to a qualified repair center because the air bag is on the steer column and you do not want to deploy it while trying to fix.

you may have a problem with the clock spring or spiral cable as nissan calles it. it is a part of the air bag system and also horn signal runs into and out of it.if that part is bad, your air bag light will flash and your horn will not work. has anyone been doing any repairs inside of the steering wheel?? it may just be unpluged. if you are going to tackle this your self to look inside of the steering wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 3 minutes, befor you start playing with the air bag. you dont want to blow it up.

means eithor you have a bad air bag sensor or the air bag is defective or you have a switch and turned off the air bag becareful not to deploy the air bag

get this checked out asap. This indicates the air bag system has a problem, and may not deploy in the event of an accident. Did you just purchase the car w/ this problem, or have u had it a while? I ask, because if u purchased it w/ the blinking light, it could indicate the car was in an accident, the air bag deployed, and it wasn't replaced when repairs were made. That's the worse case scenario, get it checked, hopefully it's something not that serious. Let me know how u make out Curt
