I have the same problem with my 85 celica and I'm trying to get it fixed. This problem started after my car was rear ended and it has not been the same since. It leaks water on the seatbelts when it rains. I am in the process of trying to get it fixed. Any additional info would be helpful.

The water is getting in through the "B" pillar. Remove the seat belt bolt and take off the plastic panel. You will see two 8mm nuts that are holding the outside black "B" pillar trim. Remove the two nuts and pull off the "B" pillar trim. Apply silicone all around the inside of the "B" pillar trim and around the two threads + clip. Re install everything. No more wet seat belt ;)

What should I do to fix this problem?

Then you have a leak, as to the location that is difficult to say without leak testing under a special rain shower simulator.

The driver side seat belt getting wet

You quite obviously have a water leak, the interior near the leak must have all the trim panels removed and then it is leak tested with a rain simulator. Water leaks like this are extremely hard to find since this has likely leaked since it was new 11 years ago and the previous owner ignored it. You will need the expertise of the dealer on this, it will be expensive labor wise.

I have an 84 Toyota celica gt 2.4 the alternator belt keeps breaking

Your bolt that you tighten to hold alternator is stripped,to fix is to get another bolt but longer with lock washer and nut to tighten down, that's what I use on my 85 nissan, they are so easy to over tighten and strip,it's common, lol. You can take bolt to Autozone and they will have what you need. It's easier to have someone help when putting on belt to get good tension, but don't over tighten cause the water pump uses the belt too.will be it and it will leak or bearing will go bad.

In my 2000 chevy Impala has a water leaks under dashboard onto passenger floor, only when it rains?

I had the same problem with a 1994 Taurus. Within the front fender was 10 years of pine needles and leaves blocking the drain backing the water up in and over the fire wall and into the front passenger seat floor.
I took a LONG pair of needle nose pliers threw the passenger side door, and was able to remove enough debree. After pulling out out about 5 fist full's of yuck, 1 gallon a water that was stuck some where poured out flushing out the drain. I did the same on the drivers side. After that I had no problems with floods. I hope this helps. If not check your back door weather stripping if you have one. I have heard water leaking behind the passengers seatbelt and onto the floor from under the seat. Got to love Florida's rain season(s)

When i open the hatch on my Toyota Celica the water on the hatch runs onto the back seats. Is there anything that can help stop this?

Sometimes you can find an aftermarket plastic spoiler to wrap around the top of the hatch to catch the water.

When it rains i can hear water as i turn swishing around like a half full gallon would sound. as i hit the breaks suddenly, water leaks from the side panel seat belt and onto the front pass floor. what...

there is a drain for rain water and the A/C. put it up on a lift and run a long pipe cleaner in and out of it. they get plugged and this will not be a new procedure to the shop where you take it. you could do this at the same place that changes your oil as they will be under it anyway.

My sunroof is leaking a lot onto the front seats. More after rain, but it still leaks for a few days after rain.

While its raining the water is running thru the seal, after the rain the seal shrinks.

Water sloshing around in the vent, leaking onto passenge floor.

There should also be a drain tube or hole below duct work on outside of firewall or maybe even lower.

Door/Window seals

Possibly a clogged sunroof drain - it runs down one of the pillars inside and out the bottom of the car just behind the rear wheel. If one of those is clogged, it could backfill and leak out onto your seats.

Convertible leaks

Look for a plugged drain at both rear side panels. Water from the top can enter the car, but it is then discharged out thru drains. If the drains are clogged, you will have this problem. Same for any other Toyota convertible.
