I have an olds 88
i have an olds 88 (1991) and i am putting a 1995 engine in it. same block and most everything, but the new engine didn't have an intake manifold, so i was going to use the old one except there is an extra port on the heads. can i block these ports off? (one on each head) a round one goes to the push rods on#2 and #5 cylinders. the old heads don't have these ports. and the old intake angles off to miss them.

Can anyone tell me how to find out if the Aveo 1.6 Automatic engine and gearbox are made in Korea or Germany or indeed any info. I want to buy a 2008 Aveo but am hesitating because of the Korean engine. How would I tell the manufaturer on the engine itself ?

I know the 4 wheel drive is not disengaging even though the light turns off but the dealership says just put in reverse! hello I am driving on the road - how can I do that - and sometimes it just sputters and the wheel won't turn - I am convinced it is stuck in the on position. It makes a loud noise. Am I causing more damage by this happening? Any advice?
