Not sure but you might want to check the engine time seeing the engine has been rebuilt. Sound like it might be slow.

With deck engaged if you go in reverse deck disengages and low oil message on display. Oil level is middle of stick in operating range.Unit is new

What you may be experiencing might be normal. New lawn tractors are required by law to have a safety disable switch that cuts off the engine if the tractor is out into reverse with the blades engaged. This is due to the fact there there have been a few individuals who have been challenged mentally and fail to look behind them when backing up and have run over children. Thus we all suffer the consequences. The low oil pressure light will, of course, come on when the engine shuts off. Some manufacturers, have a disable for this feature (John Deere being one), but there is a serious warning disclaimer with the switch. Without knowing the model and manufacturer I cannot be certain that this is your problem, but it sounds suspiciously like it is. You also cannot get off the seat with the blades engaged without the tractor shutting off. Another safety switch issue.

2001 estima t idles rough when started

Hi, if it sounds like a tractor and is feeling rough and less powerful than normal, my guese is the timing chain guide (possibly top guide) has come loose. If you can get van over a pit, on jack stands or on hoist and while engine is running, the noise will be louder at front of engine by the timing chain housing, you could also feel the guides rattling, hence the tractor noise. As the engine is revved to higher RPM's the chain vibrates faster and the guide is forced off the chain so the noise lesson's. Parts are available, but before ordering parts you will have to disassemble timing chain housing and check the guide bolt thread on engine side are not threaded, otherwise re-threading the hole and finding the right bolts to fit guide plates can be a nightmare, but you can use helicoil, which expensive but effective. Check also the housing, it may have wear marks due to guides rubbing on it which is not a problem, but as oil circulates through it you wouldnt want it to leak out.
Hope this helps.

Engine light comes knocking sound

with the engine light on I suspect that you have failed big end or main bearings from lack of oil pressure.. Drain oil into a clear container and if you have metal flecks in the oil or silver traces then you are in for big money

Mazda MX5 Year 2000, started today sounds like a tractor, very little power. No smell, sound coming from engine area, managed to get 30mph didn't try any harder. What could be the problem please?

You may have lost (went bad) a coil pack which feeds ignition fire to two of the four cylinders. Leaving it to run only on 2 will sound terrible, run rough, and have little power.

When my car is cold it sounds like a tractor. I already had the gaskets changed and it over heats and I have to keep adding the 50/50 solution

check your water pump out it might still be working but not hard not enough to circulate and coolant to keep engine cool. Or If you had your engine flushed you might want to change the thermostat. hope this helps you out good luck
