Air suspension going down

if the air suspension is going down its one of 2 things either the pump is going but then the doors ect wouldn't work or you have a leak on the system very expensive to replace cheaper to replace shocks with standard ones

2007 Yukon Denali XL autoride suspension light comes on intermittently

Would need to know what DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the module for the autoride suspension . Hooking up a professional type scan tool ,looking at input data to the module etc... Looking at a wiring diagram an testing electrical circuit's using a DMM - digital multi-meter . Reading how the system works ,what all involved in making the system work . This is how a professional Tech would go about diagnosing this .

The automatic level control (ALC) system maintains a desired rear suspension position under all types of towing, hauling and loading conditions. The following components are involved in the operation of the ALC system:
• Air line tubing--Pressurized air from the ALC compressor is pumped to each of the rear shocks via air line tubing.
• Air drier--Pressurized air from the compressor is run through a drier containing a moisture absorbing chemical preventing water accumulation in the rear shocks.
• Compressor--Supplies pressurized air to the rear shocks
• Compressor motor relay--The relay supplies battery positive voltage to the ALC compressor motor.
• Pressure sensor--The electronic suspension control module (ESCM) module provides a 5-volt reference and low reference to the ALC pressure sensor. The module receives the signal voltage that is relative to the air pressure applied to the rear shocks.
• ESCM--Controls the ALC system and electronic suspension control (ESC) system and detects failures in both. The module monitors inputs from the position sensors, and pressure sensor to determine when to raise and lower the vehicle to trim height as the vehicle is loaded or unloaded. The module limits pump activation to 255 seconds to prevent thermal damage.
• Exhaust valve--An electric solenoid activated by the ESCM to vent air pressure from the rear shocks.
• Left and right rear suspension position sensors--The module provides a 5-volt reference and low reference to all 4 of the body-to-wheel suspension position sensors. The sensors send the ESCM a signal voltage that is relative to the rear suspension ride height
• Left and right rear shock absorbers with internal air chambers and dampers--Dampens the rear suspension and maintains trim height depending on the air pressure applied.

Air-spring suspension 1995 Mark Vlll Lincoln Continental. When car is turned off fornt air-springs stay inflated but sometimes rear air-springs slowly lose air but inflate after ignition switch is turned to...

Save your self the hassle and expence of troubleshooting and replacement parts, install a suspension retrofit kit which changes the rear bags to coil springs and the front to struts. A car this old you might as well start over for less than $500.00......

Do kia sedona have rear shocks or air suspennsion?

all suspension systems has shocks, but some are free standing and some are part of a Mcpherson Strut assembly, your rear suspension has standard stand alone shocks, they are not air shocks.

Shock absorber on legacy hissing and is very low on that side

The suspension on those is really a brilliant thing, isn't it? Unfortunately, bladders that control the ride height don't last forever and they're pretty expensive to replace. The few that have been in my shop for leaking bladders have been retrofitted with conventional struts all around. Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure, but it's a LOT more expensive to replace the adjustable suspension, and you can bet that if one of them has ruptured, the others aren't far behind.
The only thing that I can think of that might be a good temporary fix (6 months?) is to get a used air adjust strut from a salvage yard. If you can find one. Superupair in Boulder, Colorado usually has the most used Suby parts, and I believe they ship nationally.
Good luck!

Overtime the rubber boots dry out and create small cracks that leak slowly on the front and rear air suspension. Through experimentation, I have found that you can add this green material called "Green Goop" that you add to bicycle tires to stop leaks. I added four ounces to each shock and exercised them while removed from the car. You'll see this material bleed through these airline cracks. Reinstall shocks but be careful not to allow this green material to leak back to the air solenoid. If the air suspension light on the dashboard is blinking, the compressor has shut down in fault condition. Put the ignition key to off remove the negative side on the battery, turn the key to on and then off. Replaced battery cable and this should clear the fault. If it does not you will half to add air into the system by removing one of the air tubes into the system to build up some pressure and will help to clear the fault. While this may be time-consuming and looks to be complicated, it‘s not! If you have any mechanical ability this can be really achieved and so, will save you couple thousand dollars in replacing the air suspension. One air shock from the dealer is $450. Of course you can convert to standard shocks that are on the market. But this takes away from that great ride that only air suspension can give you! And that makes a XT6 the best! Hope this helps?
