92 chevy astro van fuel pump and relay

hi, i had relay go out on me ,replaced then had similar prob. replaced and nothing had mechanic put in new fuel pump but wont fire, anything in between?

Injectors or Carb? is there fuel presurt to the line near the engine and what is the presure.
The mechanoc was it a shop or buddy at home? Can you hear the fuel pump run when the key is turned on?
