I have a lincoln ls 2002 and the a/c works wonderful but at least twice a day warm air starts coming through the drivers (2) vents. Goes from icy cold to warm. Just had system purged and coolant put in. After 1 hour of icy cold the vents were blowing out warm air. When I depress the seat warmer buttons, the led's do not light Please help

I have a 2002 Lincoln LS that up to 3000 rpm seems to run fine. at 3000, it starts to shudder and miss. any ideas/

If one of the engine components is acting up, you should get a check engine light and have codes for the components. If the light is not coming on, it could be a suspension or mechanical problem.
Low fuel pressure could also do it.

2002 lincoln ls blows cool air on driver side but warm air on passenger side

It is likely that the Coolant Control Valve on your car has failed. This valve is located on the passenger side of the radiator fan shroud near the bottom and has 3 coolant hoses connected to it. This valve regulates interior duct temp by changing the amount of water flow to the heater system.

AC unit is blowing both cold and warm mixing as if

Sounds to me like you've got a stuck door. One of the doors in the air ducts isn't closing/opening all the way. Possibly stuck or possibly a vacuum leak or disconnected/broken vacuum hose. Only way to know is to pull the dash apart. Sucks but gotta be done.

Get your ac filter replaced. My car did the same thing for a year until I figured out what the problem was.

LINCOLN LS AC DOOR PROBLEM

you have an operating trampilla ,sorry i only know the word in spanish, the valve thats worked by engine vacumn it opens the vent flap ,the block connection for the vacumn pipe has a series of electrical operating relays that open the valve that lets the vacumn through to the appropiate vents where it opens the trampilla .The fault could lie in either the clima computer or a relay valve or the rubber diaphragm in the trampilla, best of british with it

Dual Temperature controls inside - 2002 lincoln ls

The problem is most likely a bad dual climate control valve. This component is located on the right side near the radiator under the hood. It will have several coolant hoses hooked to it and 2 silver cylinders protruding from it. You can clamp off the heater hoses at the heater core and see if both sides cool then and this will tell you that the valve is letting coolant thru when it shouldn't be.

This will narrow it down to either the valve or the control head inside the car,or wiring in between them. The only way to narrow it down further is if you have a scan tool that could access the climate control data. Have seen several of these valves cause this concern and have only seen one control head cause it.
