Question about 1994 Honda Accord
Ok we just installed a full catback exhaust with headers on my cousins 94 honda accord. no problems. we cranked up the car and started pressing the gas to hear the exhaust, it sounded great. the next day my cousin calls me and tells me that a "knocking noise" was coming from the engine when he hit the gas, especially when he put the pedal to the metal. it sounds kinda like a bolt being tossed around in the engine but i know thats not what it is. the o2 sensors working and all. could this be from mashing the throttle too much, leading to something breaking?
Its your lifters. not a serious problem. but it can be. they are what control part of your pistons.
just use better oil. and change it more often.
it happens in alot of hondas

Pull valve cover and look for any broken parts this car is old and chances are has high miles the engine cant take the abuse from the extra horsepower and the high reving which most people start doing when they install a exhaust system
