Question about 1996 Acura RL
I got this car used and the battery died yesturday and the radio
stopped working. I called the dealership and I looked everywhere they
told me to look for the serial number [under the ash tray, fuse box,
trunk, hood, glove box, etc.]. I think the previous owner took off the
I also took off the button by the fog light and found these 2 numbers:
*C1F0001570+* and 851110053 neither of them worked in their system.
I don't want to pay $100 for them to take it out when there may be a simpler solution.
The code should be written down in the owner's manual. But being a used car, sometimes the manual has been lost.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, pop off the middle button between the fog light and the read defroster and you can look through the hole to get the number off of the bottom of the radio

I called my local Acura dealership and gave him the number on the bottom of my radio. He could not find the code, so he "tweeked the number and gave me two possible codes. The second code worked. YEAH!
