Very very very easy just take off the skid plate then undo the bolt from oil pan and once drained you can take off your oil filter...make sure you use a oem filter for best results

A6 turbocharged. Whyu does it smoke when it covers a 120km per hour?

I am going to say 'blown turbo'. As I understand it, they needs replacing every few years. They are susceptible to heat and incredible revolutions. They have to be lubricated, the seals go, and you get smoke.

I have a 2006 audi a4 with 2.0 turbo engine.I am the first owner of the car, right now it has 43000 miles on it.Sometimes when I start the car I hear a high frequency ticking sound same as the sound the...

Well I would make sure that whoever is changing your oil is using an oil filter with an anti flow back valve. I had the same problem with a few of my car when I used filters without the anti flow back valve. I can't stand that noise when you first start it. Now I always use anti flow back filters and I never hear it anymore.

My A4 turbo keeps stalling smokes & idles erratically

That sounds correct. When the seals/bearings go out in the turbo, oil that is used to cool/lubricate the turbo is force into the engine through the intake. The oil burns, and smokes. Take of the air filter hose from the inducer side of the turbo, (with the car not running), and see if the blade moves at all (shaft play, up, down, in, and out). If you can move it is probably shot. You can also check for oil in the side that leads to the engine. The only other thing would be to check the compression of the engine. The piston rings could be shot.

Can you tell the location of the oil filter and air filter

The Air filter (if this is a V6) Will be on the left side (looking at the engine infront of car). It's very difficult to get out. The oil filter (again V6) Will be under the car, should be pretty obvious.

If it's a 1.8, the air filter is still in the same place, the oil filter will be on the drivers side of the engine sort of midway down.

If you need more help, please post engine size..

An 05 may be 2.0L turbos and 2.5 non-turbos.. which are completely different.

I'm currently installing my 3 replacemnet Turbo

There are a few different things that will cause you to destroy turbos. It is very important that when you change the turbo you also change the mesh filter inside of the banjo bolt in the oil feed line to the turbo. This filter tends to get filled with sludge if you are not changing the oil enough, using poor quality oil, or if your turbo has gone bad, metal get stuck in this filter. Also make sure there is no metal pieces left in the oil feed line or any where else in the system.

You may also want to look into getting a turbo timer. This will give the turbo adequate time to cool down after driving, reducing the chance of warping the turbo.
