Hi. I have a 96' grand cherokee that had the same problem. In my case the a/c drain was not blocked at all (note: if you need to check there is no access from the outside, you have to drill a small hole in the bottom of housing - under the glove box and plug it). The condensor drain goes through the fire-wall right under the glove box, at the bottom of the black plastic housing for the condensor. There is a foam seal around this drain that rots out. I resealed around the drain with silicone and no more soaked floor board. Hope this helps.

1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4 x 2, windows and door locks work on driver side, but not passenger side.

sounds like an open power or ground circuit on passenger side, since the door lock and the window, lost its functioning. Both switches would have to be bad at the same time, which is not probable, to be the fault. Unless there is a saftey lock out switch on the drivers panel, controling the passenger side door lock and window.

When it rains hard the front passenger side floor of my 97' jeep grand cherokee gets soaked. I can't identify the leak. Any suggestions?

Check the front 'cowl' area, (located between the hood and the windshield). A lot of junk can accumulate inside through the slots. This is where air is drawn into the car for ventilation. If leaves and pine needles build up inside, it can rust through, allowing rain into the vehicle. Also check under the hood, near the passenger compartment, at the fire wall. I have a 96 Pontiac that leaked there into the drivers side due to rusting from leaves and junk. You should also check the windshield seal, and possibly the door seal, as water could enter from one point and travel a ways before hitting the carpet. You might also want to have someone hold a hose on the car, in one location for a while, to see if you can narrow the possible locations. Good luck.

evaporator drain is plugged... Look at the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side... should see a rubber tube (Short, only an inch or so long) coming out... need to squeeze it and see if anything is plugging it.

You problem is probably a blocked or resricted drain tube that allows the condensation to leave the vehicle

My 1999 limited does this. When i bought it off the guy he said that its because of some flap down by the passengers left foot. In mine the passenger air barely even blows because of this.
