There are 4 small coild on the top of the motor, these are the ignition coils, 1 per spark plug. You have to pull the coils and the spark plugs are under them.

Please click this link to see detailed info on changing tuning up a Tracker 2.0.

There is a diagram about 1/2 way down that shows the spark plug placement, with removal instructions.

OK, if you are familiar with a spark plug wire, then follow it from the ignition down to the cylinder. The end of the wire has a "boot" that fits over the plug. The plug is "screwed" into the cylinder. You will have to use a spark plug socket to remove the plug--be careful to not allow any dirt to enter the hole to the cylinder once you have removed the plug.

Please try this link, and this link.

Also, if you have an auto parts store nearby, they would be happy to show you exactly where they are, as they would like to sell you parts!

I need to locate the number 4 spark plug wire to replace the spark plug can you tell me how to locate this wire on a 05 ford expedition

Your vehicle doesn't have spark plug wires . Has coil on plug ignition system . Eight individual coils sitting right on top of the spark plugs . An the spark plugs have the tendency to break in the cylinder head . Does your ford have the 5.4 L 3 valve engine . Your best bet is to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop that has the tool to take the broken spark plug out off the cylinder head. What is the location of cylinder # 5

Oh please don't try replacing a spark plug if you don't know how to locate a cylinder position on an engine..........
pin second thoughts, ONE by ONE, replace all the spark plugs. Then you don't need to know exactly where any cylinder in particular is..and you will be doing some preventative maintenance as well, since most people replace gem as a set.......

Replace spark plug's

Things you will need
Spark Plug Socket And Wrench of the correct size for your spark plugs

Basic Instructions.
Step 1
Locate your spark plugs
look for other obstructions besides your spark plug wires
if you have any other obstructions you will need to remove them as well to gain access to your spark plugs.
Step 2
Remove the spark plug wire for one single spark plug at a time.
this will insure you will not replace the wrond spark plug wire to the incorrect spark plug,
if not done this way you could change the firing order of your engine.
Step 3
With your spark plug Socket and wrench rotate the spark plug in a counter clock wise direction for removing.
Step 4
After you have removed your spark plug insert your new replacement spark Plug into your spark plug socket before inserting it into the correct location. spark plug sockets are made to hold on to the spark plug for easy removal and install.
Step 5
insert your new spark plug,
before you rotate your spark plug for tightening rotate the spark plug a 1 quarter turn in the counter clock wise direction, then start tightening the spark plug by rotating it in a clockwise direction
This will insure you will not strip the threads.
Step 6
Continue rotation your spark plug in the clock wise direction untill snug, then with just a lil more pressure tighten it up just a little more.
be sure to not put to much force on the spark plug after it has been snug, you just have to apply a little more pressure but not to much that could cause it to break.
Step 7
After tightening the spark plug replace the correct spark plug wire.
then move on to the next spark plug and follow the same instructions.

if you have any other visiable obstructions preventing you access for replacing your spark plugs you will need instructions on how to remove them parts. i have just instructed you on how to remove and reinstall the spark plugs only.

Where are the spark plugs

Locate the spark plug wires in the Cherokee cylinder head. In the 4.0 liter engine, the spark plugs are below the coil rail assembly. On the 4.7 liter engine, the spark plugs are located under each corresponding engine coil.

I need to see the image of a 2001 ford taurus motor to locate the spark plugs

with all due respect, if u need an image to locate spark plugs then you really shouldnt be working under the bonnet of ur car. if u snap a spark plug or cross thread it when replacing them, your in for mega money putting it right. however if u insist, remove the plastic cover off the top of ur engine and look for 4 black rubber leads, pull these out and the spark plugs are underneath.
