Maybe the bearings in your water pump are going bad causing drag and less water flow... kinda slim chance but possible..

you answered your own question. As long as it is not over heating you are just fine. Check water and oil regularly and change oil every 3000-5000 miles.

Temp guage Rises/almost oveheats when Heater is on. Temp Rises to almost H then drops fast to just above C and repeats but only while heater is on

The cooling system has an air pocket in it. The best solution is to have someone with a vacuum coolant system, and drain and replace the coolant. The only other way,is to jack up the front of the vehicle, and take off the radiator cap,and run it with the heater on full blast. Wait till the thermostat opens,(when coolant level drops)...then top it off while its still running. If you buy ,or have a friend who has a tool called an "Air Lift",..it will make this MUCH easier, and cleaner to fix.

Temp gauge normal till you rev above 3000 then drops back to normal but engine is not over heating

How fast does the guage change. Is it instant or slow? If its slow than you need a thermostat. If its fast then its something electrical. Do you have a volt meter? Check the voltage at your battery and make sure its not going above 14v

1989 F150 351 oil pressure guage starting dropping to 0 suddenly and engine light comes one. When I rev the engine it goes back to normal but a soon as the rpms drop the needle goes all the way to the left...

Hi:
Usually your oil light doesnt come on unless you have less than 10 lbs of oil pressure. You either have a bad oil pressure sending unit, or your engines oil pump is bad. The only way to verify your engines oil pressure is to buy a direct reading pressure guage and install it on your truck, or have a mechanic check your engine oil pressure. Eitherway, you need to do something soon, because the long term effects of running with low oil pressure will ruin your truck engine.
