I had experience of this when I bought my 230 and when I looked it was stuck on with extra strong double sided tape. I eventually found this out by removing the inner boot cover and poking around. there are holes there to screw it on but my ones were stuck on.

Where is air condation filter

The cabin air filter should be behind a plate with 3 screws under the glove box. Behind the plate is a panel that has clips that are released to pull the panel out.
Check your owners manual for more details.

Tag light is not working. is there a fuse that will get the light turned back on?

The fuse labeled REAR PARK LP 15A in the right instrument panel fuse box powers the rear park lamps, and the tag lamps. If your rear park lamps are working then you most likely need to replace the tag lamps (bulbs). Use the following procedure to replace the lamps.

To Remove:
  1. Remove the two mounting screws from the license plate lamp.
  2. Remove the license plate lamp from the rear bumper fascia.
  3. Remove the license plate lamp socket by turning it counterclockwise.
To Install:
  1. Install the license plate lamp socket by turning it clockwise.
  2. Position the license plate lamp to the rear bumper fascia.
  3. Install the license plate lamp mounting screws.

How do you secure a rear number plate

There is usually a small threaded metal clip behind the numberplate. This gives the screw something to thread into as the bodywork of the car isnt enough. If this is missing you could try drilling a new hole (smalled than the screw) in the area behind the plate to fix it to or a less permanent solution would be double sided tape.

My 2004 E 260 boot lid has jammed, along with the 3rd brake light LED and the right and left rear reg plate lights. It's a bit suspicious that it's all happened in the boot lid area. We've had snow tonight...

not a solution, but exactly the same happened to me this morning. Boot motor jammed partly open and both number plate lights came up as not working on computer, very odd as all worked perfect yesterday. Did you fix yours? Thanks

Clutch sequince need to find out what the clutch sequince is it a fiber then steel plate then a spring then what a fiber then a plate or what

Should go Flywheel on the back of the engine then the fibre/friction disc then the small toothed/fingered plate at the back bolted round with a series of 10 or 12 mm bolts. the shaft on the transmission must pass thru the center of the friction/driven plate so make sure you line it up with a screw driver so the distance around the fingers is roughly equal before lifting the transmission in to position or you'll be struggling to get it boxed up.
