Hello,

To change the rear turn signal bulb of Your 1993 dodge grand caravan is not that difficult, in just few minutes You should be through with the fix. Please get these instruments(screwdriver and replacement bulb) and follow the steps below:

  1. Take the keys out of the ignition and set the parking brake for added safety. Switch the headlamps off.
  2. Open the lift gate to access the rear storage compartment.
  3. Remove the two screws from the inboard side of the taillight housing.
  4. Insert a screwdriver between the outboard side of the taillight assembly and the van's body, and then pry the assembly loose. If you want, wrap the screwdriver in a thin cloth to keep it from scratching your Caravan's paint.
  5. Twist the signal bulb socket counter-clockwise to remove it from the light assembly.
  6. Pull the bulb out of the socket.
  7. Replace the bulb, reinstall the socket and screw the light assembly back into place. Make sure the assembly's secure before closing the lift gate and operating your van.
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

SOURCE: how do I change the rear signal bulb on 2005 Dodge Caravan

There are some expandable black plugs (about 1" diameter) that hold the taillight assembly to the body. You can access them by raising the hatch, and gently pry them both out.
*
The assembly will swing out and drop if you don't hold it up...hold it firmly and observe how the front part of it is held in by the plastic guide.
*
The bulb is easy to pull and replace. I avoid touching any bulb with your fingers to avoid leaving oil deposits. I would have a friend test the brakes and the signal (with the ignition on), after the bulb is installed, but before you replace the assembly.
*
When the assembly is aligned back in place, you can push the re-usable plugs back into the hole, and they should expand to secure the taillight.
*
If this helps, please rate my answer. If not, I still appreciate constructive comments, too.

2006 pt cruiser on drivers side rear turn signal

The turn signals flash depends on each and every bulb working correctly. When one bulb fails, you will notice a change in the flash frequency, as you describe.

Replace or repair the bulb that is not working, and you should be good to go.
