Lube and r/r cv boots, pressure drain tranny and engine at jiffy lube, check for smoke and or oil leaks. Replace plugs and wires (on 4 cyl do yourself and air cleaner), cabin air cleaner (IF ANY) Keep the oli clean and provide me with any check engine codes or service engine soon codes and I can get the answers for you to diazgnose any emissions or electronic errors.

Hi, I just bought a 2004 Kia Optima, 85,000 miles. It is in a pretty good condition, but I would like to know what kind of maintenance I should do at this time, or what I should take in consideration. ...

I would consider a tune up and oil change so that you have a starting point for your own record keeping. Then you can keep your own maintenance schedule. Also it might be beneficial to have your cooling system flushed and have all of your fluids topped off.

How often should a coolant flush be done?

NORMAL MAINTENANCE @ 150,000 MILES (240,000 Kilometers) - COOLANT - REPLACE - [Drain, flush, and refill every 150000 miles (240000 Km) or every 60 months, whichever occurs first.]

I changed my camry 2004 engine oil and filter and after driving for about 500km the maintenance required light came on. What is the cause please

You need to reset the maintenance reminder manually after you change the oil. You can do this by holding in the trip reset button and turning the key to the run position. keep holding the button down. the odometer should switch to all dashes and then the dashes will start to disapear. once there all gone it has been reset. Sometimes the trip odometer needs to be on a sometimes it needs to be on b. Your owners manual will have further instructions if you need then.

What is the recommended service for 2004 chevy

Service your cooling system every 5 years or 150,000 miles. The GM Dex Cool has a life of 5 years or 150,000 miles which ever comes first. Replace the thermostat also and buy the fail safe thermostat, it cost a bit more but worth it.

Service the engine (spark plugs and wire) every 100,000 miles or till engine management prompt attention. (service engine light DTC code)

Service the transmission every 3 years or 60,000 miles, replace the transmission oil and filter. Transfer case fluid and differential fluid.

Service the engine oil and filter every 6 months or 3,000 miles. Lube Chassis

Service the air filter and cabin air filter, wiper blades every 15,000 miles or once a year.

Maintenence light came on in my 2004 Toyota Camry LE; how do I reset it?

Make sure your car is displaying the amount of miles then turn off your car hold down the button that resets the miles keep holding it as you turn your car on and you will see digital lines like this - - - - blinking where the miles show Keep holding the button until light turns off and the lines will go away also. The Maintenance light usually means change the oil.
Hope this helps

CANT FIND FUEL FILTER

On the 2004 Sierra, the truck is on the change over year. If there is no fuel filter on the inside driver's side frame rail. The filter is the life time fuel filter which is a part of the fuel pump now and to replace it you have to replace the fuel pump. That is the good news, the bad news is the fuel pump has a life expectancy of 150,000 miles and will need to be replace soon after that miles. You can get more life out of it if you run the gas tank above half most of it's life since the fuel is what keep's the fuel pump cooled. Good luck and hope this helps. Keep me posted, be glad to answer any more questions you may have.

Light in heat regulator, how to change it, get in there without breaking something. Toyota carina e xli 1995

First you need to gently pry the plastic facia around the heater control out. Then remove the heater controller. Pry open the heater control tabs to enter it and there is the 3 bulbs. These bulbs are not run of the mill and your best bet is an actual car parts place to obtain them. I would change all three while you are in there.
