ok there are several places to look
the door panels stickers
the glove box
the engine compartment
the engine number will be stamped on the block if facing truck it would be on the bottom right hand side between the first and second freeze plug

Just have your auto - locking hub cleaned and use your 4wd more often, it get stock usually for non usage. dont use grease after cleaning, use oil or thick silicone oil.

its usully at the rear of motor and red in color to check transmision you need the vehicle running pull the stick and wipe off then slide back in pull out and then you will know if you need any transmission fluid if you do you need to put it in the hole where the dipstick goes/ Please rtae my response thank you very much

If the fluid is up -
it could be a vacume loss or the shifting module..
The shifting module is what tells it to shift - and it is controled by vacume pressure..
