Hello! On the 2007 Passat you must pry the cover off of the manual key slot... Observe from the bottom there is a slot... Place the key in the slot, at the same time pry from the bottom and the whole cap will come off revealing the keyhole... With a good fob put power to the car but do not start the engine... With a manual key, lock the door...Now press the fob you are trying to train twice... It should take the code...Unlock the door, remove the good fob and test the new fob...

Try this to reset the system

Insert the ignition key into the driver side door lock.

  • Turn the key counterclockwise to unlock the door.

  • Turn the key clockwise to initiate the alarm activation sequence.

  • Turn the key counterclockwise. The alarm will stop and reset itself.

Jaguar s/type wont start had flat battery now replaced x.reg 2000

Yes the key needs to be reprogramed to the car. Unfortunately that will have to be done by the dealer. Make sure that you have plenty of proof that you are the owner. They will reprogram it but you will not take posession of the car until you prove it is yours.

    Power windows

Try to only roll one at a time up or down if you push more than 1 button at a time it will put a strain on the battery also try getting your battery tested to see if a cell is out. good luck!
