Question about 2003 Dodge Stratus
HAVE TO CHANGE BATTERY. HOW??? THE BATTERY IS UNDER SOME THINGS ON THE DRIVERSIDE DO I HAVE TO TAKE THE TIRE OFF TO CHANGE BATTERY
It is best if you jack it up and remove the driver side front tire and then reove the mud shield. diconnect the wires connected to the battery poles..the negative and positive...slide out the battery and slide in the new one. Reconnect the wire clamps to the poles, screw on the mud shield and put on the tire.

More than likely, the battery is under your air intake. You will have to remove the intake and then loosen the bolt holding the battery into its rack. Be sure to disconnect the battery leads before removing. Install is just the opposite.

The battery is located in the drivers side wheel well. Turn the wheeel all the way to the left. Remove mud shield toward the front of the car.
