Yes there is, however before you spend any money. Have someone crank the car while you look inside the engine by taking the oil cap off, if the camshaft is not moving then the taming belt is broken. These cars are prone to this problem specially if the is not replaced every 90,000 miles

I would suggest checking to see if themostat is installed properly and the temp range is correct for your vehicle. You can read more about heating issues in my tips section.

You should not have to touch the timing on your car,the computer changes it for you to meet the conditions occuring as you drive.

Taming marks


AutoZone has this on their web site here. Instructions and diagrams for the 2.0L engine starts about halfway down, first the SOHC version then the DOHC version.
