I have a 2003 330i as well and I have the same problem!!! I'm very frustrated because I have had it checked out and the service department at the dealership have told me each time they are not able to duplicate the noise. It does not make the whistling noise everyday but it is frequent enough to find out what is going on. I have told them that I believe it has something to do with the brake/accelerator pedals as the noise stops/begins respectively when those pedals are pressed. I recently videotaped the noise so that I can take it to the dealership the next time I go. jordana504

Could be one of your coil packs is faulty. Get it plugged in to check codes. Not expensive and easy DIY if it is.

How to replace a bmw rear parking sensor

put car into reverse with ignition on (not running) and either listen very closely or feel each sensor with your finger tips, you should hear a clicking noise or feel a ticking on the good sensors. once you have determined the faulty one simply release the two plastic retaining clips and push the sensor through the bumper inwards, then remove plug and fit new sensor

330d loss off power and smokes when rev and makes a screm noise

What do you mean remapped?

If you mean retuned, then the new Convertor and Flywheel must have thrown the adaptive learning off. timing and Ignition is off now, you are not burning all the fuel that is being Squirted in the Motor. Have the tuner return it to OEM and then retune it. bc to me it sounds like that is the Problem. Did you put the same donut back in and the same oem flywheel? or did you go with a stage kit? Bc these beemers are very sensitive. Have that checked out. Let me know waht it was.
