Question about Lincoln Town Car
I have a 95 that had the same problem. After the dealer replaced most of the engine, it turned out to be a Power train module relay that cost about seven dollars. Your problem might be different, but it seems the relays get hot and will have to cool down before they allow the engine to start.

I had the same thing happen to my '83 and had to replace the main computer. now it's fine.
