Question about 1997 Honda Civic
A fewweeks ago, during a bad storm, my car alarm went off in the parking lot. I was able to disable it remotely. When I went to leave, the car woudl not start right away & the alarm had not reset, and my clock & radio had lost their settings. (The car has seemed a little noisy since then). This morning, the same thing happened - car would not start right away, and radio/clock list settings. The car did not start right away, but the alarm sounded even though it was "off". After I go tthe alarm **** up, the car started.
Is this a bettery problem or something else?
Weak battery or battery connection issues and/or faulty alarm start relay inside alarm box , i personally have removed aftermarket alarms for starting issues

All alarm issues aside, the radio losing its settings would make me go and clean the battery cables.
