All fords come with a fuel shut off switch, when cars get older they seem to be a little more tempromental. If you look in your manual under fuel shut off switch it will tell you where it is located in your car, all you need to do is reset it by pushing the button and you should be ok.

This switch is made to cut the fuel from going to the engine when in an accident. I don't know exactly where it is on your model but i believe it is in your trunk.
