my kia sportage 1995 standard headlight stereo horn and wiper wont work or the engine turn over i changed the fuses and relays but it still wont star.

when the head gasket blew, i had a backyard mechanic do the majority of the fix, but when he started complaining the maybe the codes he got from his buddy were impossible codes, he said it might be the computer had gone bad. Isn't that like decapitation in olde France? I took it to the dealers and they just checked compression and said 3 of 4 were under and no way would it run, although i drove it to the dealers from the backyard. it took a long time to start.

Check the neutral safety switch located somewhere under the clutch pedal or the 2 relays in the fuse box under the hood. One is for fuel pump, one is for the vehicle computer and they interchange. I am not a mechanic, this is from my husbands experience working on mine. And of these repairs are relatively inexpensive if you can do them yourself.

We fixed the problem.Look in the fuse box on right hand side under steering wheel near door and check your fuses. We had a blown fuse 3rd down from top, number 15 with stop on it.Changed the fuse and immobilizer works again. Everything going again and radio no longer cutting out. Hope this works for you. Good luck.

Fob still won't work after new battery and nothing wrong with the contact inside, do not hae original code for the Kia sportage 1998 so what is the next best thing ,to do?

When replacing the key fob battery there is no reprogramming required! If the key fob was working prior to the battery replacement then it would point to the contacts not being correct! Remove key fob battery and start again!
