First thing to check is the fuse panel. If all fuses are good inside the vehicle and under the hood in the power distribution box then you will need to test the wiper motor by using direct wire connections. Once you access the Wiper motor itself identify the ground wire buy using a Multimeter to locate the wire that provides a connection between the motor and a ground point. Ground that wire and apply power from a direct connection to the batter with a piece of wire and see if the motor will activate. If it won't then your wiper motor is most likely burned out. If it does work and the fuses are good the problem is your wiper switch.

SOURCE: 1990 Mercury Cougar windshield wipers won't work

check ALL fuses..check the wire connections at the wiper motor..un plug then plug in .the way to test the motor is to get some speaker wire (stop laughing) go from the battery to motor to by pass the switch .

Where is the fuse for the windshield wiper fluid 2005 sentra

Check to be sure there is washer fluid in the washer fluid reservoir. The owners manual should have a "map" that tells you location, amperage , and system(s) covered by listed fuses. Lacking an owners manual, the inside of the fuse box access panel will also have this information. Suggest you get a Chiltons/Haynes repair manual that covers your vehicle. There are other reasons for washer not to work. And newer vehicles have 2 fuse panels. With redundant systems.

2005 mercury mountaineer windshield wipers stopped working in the middle of the windshield. ..the rear windshield wiper works though

That really sounds like a fuse blew for the wipers.
Check your owners manual for fuse box location.

My windshield wipers, blinkers, and my emergency brake light fuses don't work. I don't know the number the number of the fuse to get to fix that.

Check underhood fuse box; can download your manual from this link: chrysler.com/en/owners/manuals (page 315 and next).

Hope this helps (remember to rate this answer).

Windshield wipers just stopped working this morning. Fluid does spray, but wipers don't wipe. I checked the fuse under the steering wheel and under the hood. What could be the problem.

probably a fuse is there anything else not working? fuse guide is in your owners manual and is a cheap do it yourself fix however it could be your wiper motor or a wire leading too.

Windshield wipers

From your owners manual:

Fuse#11 30A , Wiper Run/Park
Relay, Wiper Hi/LO Relay, Windshield Wiper
Motor, Rear Washer Pump Relay

U will also need to check the relays if the fuse is ok, the relay, it is the underhood fuse box
Relay #202 — Front Wiper Run/Park Relay

Windshield wipers wont work

Can you here the motor running? If not maybe a fuse is blown or the wiper motor is bad.
Can you move the wipers by hand? If you can then the linkage either popped off or is broken.
