For 2007 Mercury Milan 3.0L SFI DOHC 6cyl the upper intake manifold must be removed to access the RH spark plugs only.
Remove the upper intake manifold, if removing the RH spark plugs.
Refer to the Intake Manifold procedure in the Engine Mechanical Section
Disconnect the 6 ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.
NOTE
When removing the ignition coil-on-plugs, a slight twisting motion will break the seal and ease removal.
Remove the 6 bolts and the 6 ignition coil-on-plugs.
WARNING
Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
NOTE
Use compressed air to remove any foreign material in the spark plug well before removing the spark plugs.
Remove the 6 spark plugs.
To install:
Inspect the spark plugs, as outlined in this section.
Inspect the 6 spark plugs.
Adjust the spark plug gap, as necessary, to 1.32-1.42mm (0.052-0.056 in.).
WARNING
Only use hand tools when removing or installing the spark plugs, or damage can occur to the cylinder head or spark plug.
Install the 6 spark plugs. Tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft).
NOTE
Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to the inside of the ignition coil-on-plug boots before attaching to the spark plugs.
Install the 6 ignition coil-on-plugs and the 6 bolts. Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
Connect the 6 ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

If so that is called the plenum gasket, or intake plenum gasket. There are available aftermarket, places like NAPA should have or be able to get them. It is a common gasket to replace because of the necessity to remove the plenum to do a tune-up. NAPA gets about $7 for the gasket.
the spark plugs are located in the head. you must remove the upper half intake manifold first, it has three bolts 12mm. then remove the black plastic cover down the center of the valve cover, six 10mm bolts. remove the two coils and plug wires. now you have access to your spark plugs. Good Luck
