there are like 3 for a 2000 chevy silverado. 1 on left side of dash accessible only when door is open. 2 on right side of dash, not sure those fuses are applicable to you tho, and 3 under hood beneath a plastic cover that you snap off by pulling on.

remove the door panel and see if theres power to the power lock actuator is so the actuator is bad if not power locks remove the door panel and check the linkage rods

Yes there are. loosen the mounting bolts on the frame. They are hard to get to. You should be able to lift the door a little then. (Unless the entire door is dragging and that should not be the case). Probably do not want to loosen the bottom unless you have to. You should be able to raise it with just the top loosened.

Can you get in the vehicle though another door and use the inside
handle to open the drivers door?

Once you remove the door panel, you will see the linkage and rods. The rods are connected with these little "swing away" plastic fasteners. Basically, these fasteners have a hole on one end and a sort of channel which snaps onto the connecting rods. To remove them you just unsnap them from the connecting rods. I'm enclosing 2 pictures of typical awing away connectors. In the pictures, it's the square end which needs to be unsnapped. we have a 08 1500 crewcab chevy that all the power door locks worked excepted the drivers door. We started to look at that door power lock actuater and now the passenger power door lock does not work. Could the trouble be something other than actuaters?

Had the same thing happen to my truck, the blen door actuator is under the console on passenger side, but the heater core is going to be clogged if you dont have any heat coming through, but a/c works..

I have shaved door handles on a 2000 chevy silverado and the drivers side door just recently stopped opening it seems like its completely locked out and the door is closed so i cannot get to the bolts of the latch assembly when i hit the unlock button it unlocks half way and when you go to open the door it relocks itself even if you manually try to unlock the door and hold the lock forward it still wont open

I also had the same problem on my 2000 Silverado 1500 Z71....on both doors!!! I found the best solution (even though I didn't have the money) was to get it fixed by a good mechanic who wouldn't screw up anything else in the process. Passenger side went first...then a year later, drivers side fell half way down. He researched the solution on his own...found out you have to buy the whole window motor assembly. After labor....300 bucks each window...OUCH!!! Bought my truck new in 2000. Window problem happened in 2006 then in 2007.
