What type oil does a 2002 ford escape 6 cylinder use? thanks!

if that is what code your getting from computer scan ,most likely its a coil pack gone bad ,one way to check is to change one with one from an different cylinder 1, 2,3,5, and see if misfire codes change to those cylinders ,if it does replace those.coils. coils cost about 50.00 new

On 4 cylinder engines: The oil pressure sending unit is located in the rear of the block near the oil filter housing
On 6 cylinder engines: Sending unit is located near the oil filter housing behind the air conditioning compressor, on the front side of the block

Ford V6's - rear bank of cylinders are 1 - 2 - 3. Front bank are 4 - 5 - 6 starting from passenger side (front) of engine.
Your firing order is
1 - 4 - 2 - 5 - 3 - 6

I IAC is along the intake tube from the air filter housing to the Throttle body. There's going to be a two wire harness. It may even be on the air filter housing on the throttle body side. Good luck and hope this helps.

when looking at motor from front ......4-5-6 are front of motor...1-2-3 on back of motor by fire wall ....#5 is center plug on front of engine
