Question about Pontiac Bonneville
That worked for me. While the battery cable was off I loosened and cleaned all the ground straps I could find in engine compartment. I found 2 on the driver side shock tower and one on passenger side behind headlights.

to clear the codes stored remove the negative battery cable for about five minutes. Reistall the cable then turn the car on the light should be out . If it comes back on then there is a fault with one of your sensors and you need to pull the code

- Mass air flow sensor may be faulty
- Incorrect PCV hose connection Possible solution Dirty air filter of faulty air flow sensor are common causes of the problem. Bottom line possible defective Mass airflow sensor and or O2 sensor in cylinder bank number two.
