Question about 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 Club Cab
Try putting the truck in 5th and let out the clutch if the engine does not die you need work

Its the clutch,the more you try to make it move and it revs the more damage you can do as your making intence heat by it slipping,a usal tell tale is that it smells like burnt eggs,hope this helps if it does vote me a fix ya
