Before totally condemning the fuel pump (and I suspect this is your problem), take something like a hub cap hammer (the soft rubber kind) and give the bottom of the fuel tank a couple of sharp raps and then see if it'll start. This will often cause an other wise failed fuel pump to start running for a short while.
Since you didn't indicate Make, Model, Year, and Engine, I'm assuming it's a newer model that has an electric fuel pump submerged in the fuel tank.
An older model can have a mechanical pumped bolted to the side of the engine, and this procedure wouldn't accomplish anything.
Get a gauge and check your fuel presure check your fuel filter . Check your breaker for fuel pump. How much gas do you have in it not a half of a tank?
Well, google or yahoo your car ,the year, make, and ask for owners manual or fuse locations. since you didnt put that info here nobody knows what to do except tell you to check fuel relays/fuses your owners manual if you have one ...........sorry not much here
