There is a fuse for the cruise control in the fuse box under the hood located right behind the battery. if the fuse is fine, then one of the cruise control components might be bad.

as for the headlight, you might need a new headlight socket. they are easy to replace and the replacement sockets can even be bought at walmart.
if the socket doesnt fix your problem, then you might need a new bright light switch

My 97 dodge neon head lights wont turn on but every other light will fuses look ok Wat is my problem

  1. Turn the light switch off and on several times.
  2. Change from high beam to low beam several times.
  3. Use a multi-meter to check for power to the plug that the bulbs connect to. Sometimes there are components other than fuses than can malfunction and stop the flow of electricity.
  4. Change one of the bulbs for a new one. There is a possibility that both headlights are burned out.
Sometimes, the high/low beam switch gets "stuck" between the two settings and the headlights will not come on at all.

On my 99 jetta My headlights don't turn on only the driving orange lights and the hight beams work but there is only one bulb for both? And my wiper lever doesn't work the wiring is all messed up and...

have you checked the fuse for the head lights? it only has one bulb for both low and high beams, so it could be the low beam fuse that went out, and if not replace the light bulbs, but make sure you check the fuses first.. good luck!

The left headlight only works when it is on hight beam not low beam

the low beam element has burned out in the light bulb itself - buy and install a new bulb,, this will fix your problem. ( your local auto parts store will carry the replacement bulb ).

ok, this is a good un!
have you ever stoped to think your old starter may have had nothing wrong with it in the first place?????
it could be a simpel brake in the wireing loom,,,,
i bet that one hurt "A"!
hook up a 12 volt light bulb to the small wire that go's to the starter and ground it to the car engine get a pall to turn the kye to start poshion and hold it there the 12 volt bulb should light up and stay lit if the kye is held over now give the wire harnes a good poke about to see if the light go's out? if it dose, fine the brake in the loom and fix it!

High-low beams not working

Check for headlight relay and fuse. Some cars have separate circuits for head light flasher and normal high/low beam. From your description, I would suspect a bad connection to/from relay or relay itself.

I have a 2003 dodge neon sxt and i have not been able to get my headlights to work, or stay on, but my high beams do work, i have checked the fuses and they are fine, so i need all the help, plz

This is a problem with the control module. It is at the base of the turn signal. In many Neons it melts or shorts out. It is on the NTSB website, but it is not reported enough to get attention. The high beams work if you hold them on, but otherwise the headlights don't work. The module melts from the heat or the current, and needs to be replaced. My Dodge service place even suggested I put in High Intensity light bulbs, and that caused the problem... Which I did not have High Intensity bulbs installed.

Low beam not work !!

replace the headlight bulbs. Usually when the bulbs blow out the low beam blows out first, but the high beams still work. If you want and need both low and high beams to work then replace the headlight bulbs with brand new ones and I garauntee that both low and high beams will work
