Did it work when they or you hooked it up ? if it did work when did it stop working there will be a red wire comming out of the new radio there will be a plastic inline fuse holder in line usually you push white plastic holder towards each other and turn one way or the other and it shoul open and reveal the fuse check the fuse with a multi meter or visually inspect the fuse replace with the same amperage and try stereo. if it doesnt work check the black wire under the dash it will be a ground it needs to be attached to the steel frame with a screw holding solidly if there is a ground and the fuse is good inline then see where the red wire from the radio goes trace it to the source if the source is fusebox check the fuse that its attached to or if its attached to another wire to get the power 12 volts dc . take a close peek if power and ground is good to the radio return it or thake it back in the car to let them see that it doesnt work ok good luck and im sorry to hear that your new music box stopped working im shure you will get it working again talk soon

Sounds like the wire you used for power was oon the circut for all those other things, or if you pulled the fuse box down to hook radio up through the fuse box, you may have grounded out some wires, or knocked them loose. Use a test light or voltmeter and make sure you have power at the fuse box for wiper, dashlight, trunk release, door lock fuses.

I have a 84 gmc jimmy. Starter went bad. Tried to jump the starter but didnt work. Replaced starter and it starts great. But now my headlights and dash lights dont work. Found a blown fuse, replaced fuse...

Go back under the truck and check to make sure all the fusible links at the starters battery post are hooked up and have continuity through them. I thank you left one off.

97 ford ranger dash lights dont come on,tried dimmer swicth nothing. just bought dont know if they just went out or not.dont have owners manual.

It may seem simple but I would check the fuses. There is normally a fuse for all the dash lights. You didnt say if you checked them in your description so I figured I would suggest it. Remember that the dash lights run through the headlight switch so It could be a bad wire or switch as well.

Hope this helps...

1995 Ford Windstar NO Dash Lights no radio no tail lights

I would check the wiring on the radio. Lot of cars (especially nowadays) the electricity like the lights and raido is hooked on there. If any of the wires went bad, or maybe even the radio would make it cause that.

So just remove the pannel around the radio

unbolt the radio

Pull the radio out and check all the wiring.

If the wires are not bad, maybe check to see if the radio is working.

If this dont help, I might know something else

Nothing electrical works

the main terminal is a heavy red wire attached to the fuse block it should be clean and tight. also you can hook a test light from the battery neg. to the terminal it should light. if it doesn't light you could have a bad engine ground (primary ground). or a poor connection tot he main fuse block terminal previously mentioned
