Hi there, If the connector is brown , than yes that is the MAF or "air flow meter". But it should not be a problem, if it just got unpluged and repluged, as long as the key was in the OFF position, when the sensor was unplugged. That will set the MIL (check engine light on). But if you just unplugged and repluged, car should run just fine. Have done it 100ts of times my self and never had a problem.

95 NISSAN ALTIMA TURNS OVER WONT START AIR FILTER SMOKING

Its probably back-firing in the intake - which means it is firing early or the fuel mixture is very lean.
This engine uses a distributor cap and rotor, so I would start there and make sure the cylinders are firing correctly.
If the ignition checks out ok, it could be a problem with the cam timing.

I have a code po1111 in my 2003 nissan altima and po300 and it runs bad

P0300: Random / multiple cylinders misfire.

P0111: Intake Air Temperature Sensor. But sometimes this code comes up if you got a dirty air filter/Defective Mass air flow too.

But first you have to do is check the misfiring first and see if you need new spark plug or plug wires. Good luck bro

My son has a 2001 Nissan Altima. The wipers will

First thing i would do is unhook electrical plug to wiper motor and use a test light and see if it lights when you turn on switch and light goes out when you turn switch off. That way you know if its the switch or not. The wiper motor most likely is the culpret it has a printed circete in it thats went bad hense why it keeps running.

IAT Sensor Location on a 2005 Nissan Altima

It is small and round (2 wire connector) and located either in the flexiable air intake hose to the engine or in the engine air filter housing.

'97 Nissan Altima

Yes. i would perform the same test on a 1997 altima. those had the same problem with the intake manifold gasket leaking. the gasket will brake and you will have a leak.nissan didn't change the gasket. the same gasket is beeing used on 1997 and the 2001. do the carb cleaner test and let me know how it responds to some carb cleaner.
