Question about 1990 Toyota Celica
My Celica is not accelerating smoothly. I've had the spark plugs changed, but that didn't help.
Could it be the carburetor or fuel injection system?
I'm going on a road trip in 3 days and don't want any trouble.
I had this same problem. I replaced the spark plugs and that worked for awhile, but then the problem came back. I ended up replacing the distributor and rotor as well as the spark plug wires and that fixed it. Supposedly old spark plug wires don't work as well and you don't get enough spark.
One side note, I still have trouble accelerating with the AC on.
