My ac/heater stop blowing all of a sudden in my 2002 cadillac deville. The compressor still works and the temp gage still comes on inside the car. What should i check or any suggestions?

Defective compressor clutch, or ground fault in the ac switch circuit. Disconnect lead to compressor from ac switch. Run a fused line from the battery to the compressor, if it works without blowing the fuse, check for fault in the AC switch circuit.
Check the fan to see if it is going on. On my 1997 Cadillac Deville Limousine I had to have the 2 fans, and 3 relays replaced, as well as the wiring contacts for the relays at an auto electric shop for about $700 last fall, but it has been running cool since then.
right the heater rad is leaking or a pipe is loose or a tap ,their could be a relay or a control if its clima which is what i suspect if its a caddy ,best one here is to ask a local mechanic to have a look then come back on here to confirm ,very difficult to diagnose without my greasy hands under the bonnet.
If your just talking about the fan, the fan is the blower motor. Behind your glove-box is a black plastic box that houses the evaporator(which the blower blows on to give you cold air, the heater-core ( which the blower blows on to give you heat). Your car has both components, the compressor is mounted in front of your car's engine and the fan, you know. Most likely you won't be able to handle repairing the a/c system. You can buy 1lb. cans to charge your a/c but repairing it requires special tools, gauges, temp. readings, containment systems, and so on. But if there is something specific that you want to attempt then ask and 'll try to help.
This is the the Cadillac Climate Control operates. When you press AUTO, the system will automatically maitain DESIRED temp . The A/C compressor will operate ALL THE TIME on AUTO. Don't want the a/c compressor to operate, PRESS " ECON". Air delivery will NOT be DE-HUMIFIED, nor will it cool, only warm,. Hope this helps.
this problem is caused by a defective air temp control blend door motor, this door and actuator motor is located inside the dash between the heater core and the AC evaporator core, it shifts airflow through the heater core or the AC core or mixes or blends the two for the desired temp at the outlets, the motor will have to be replaced. This is a very common issue.
