It's the fuel pump. make sure your fuel injectors are clean or else it will happen again

Replaced front rotors and pads on 2004 ford ranger a week ago. they were working great. driving today pedal went to the floor. what can it be.

Could be a number of things. Start by checking your fluid lvl in the master cylinder. If it is full, I would think your problem is the master cylinder. If it is empty, you need to look for wet spots to find the source of your leak.

2004 Ford Focus LX, was sputtering while driving

A flashing light is BAD. Its damaging the cat converter. I would check or replace the spark plug wires ( if all OK, then) replace the coil pack. I would not replace anything unless they test bad. but these car are known for bad coil packs.

Made a small thump under my feet when i tried

this sounds like the starter grenaded. Look under the vehicle for the starter and if the solenoid itself had come apart, it would act like a dead battery. Let me know what you find.

1993 ranger sputters until warm?

replace the Oxygen senson before catalytic converter this sensor tells the computer to send signal to fuel injectors to allow rich mixture upon start up for warm up then leans out mixture as it heats.

2004 f150 battery light came on the other day. Then all gauges went kinda crazy. Then everything shut down, but was still driveable. Bought new battery but still having problem. Now truck won't even start.

Gauges going crazy like that is caused mostly by a bad battery. Try jump starting... If your truck still won't start even with a jump then there still might be a battery connection problem. Check to make sure cables are clean and tight at both ends...not just on the battery. Also that cables are in good condition. Let me know how you make out and I can assist you further.

Guages when crazy. Now won't even try to start.

You likely have it repaired by now but it sounds like a classic case of oxidized battery or cable connection (sometimes mis-diagnosed as bad battery but cured with new (clean) battery)
