Question about 2006 Nissan Titan
I went to start my titan and all the gages came on flashed and went back off the starter acts like its engaging but just clicks..
(NOT A DEAD BATT) thats for sure now all the gages come on running lights work but when i try to turn on the beams they go dead... got a new batt same thing could I have a short in my starter solenoid...???
I HAVE 2006 NISSAN TITAN SE AND ONE OF THESE DAY IT DID NOT WANTED TO START AND THAT HAPPEN A WEEK LATER AFTER I REPLACED ONE OF THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, SO I SMELLED FUEL WHEN I TRIED TO START IT, SO I INSTALLED NEW SPARK PLUGS AND THEN STARTED NO PROBLEM, SO THEN I TURNED IT OFF, THEN I TRIED TO START IT AND IT DID THE SAME THING AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN, SO I WAS PATIENT TO CHECK FOR ANY OTHER PROBLEMS, BUT EVERYTHING CHECK OUT FINE, SO I GAVE UP AND CALLED MY FRIEND WHICH IF A MECHANIC AND HE COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM SO HE RESET THE COMPUTER AND RELOAD THE SOFTWARE SO BASICALLY IT WAS A CORRUPTED COMPUTER

I think that you have a harness problem. Check the negative batt. cable to see if its tight on the engine. Clean any corrosion. I would check all the grounds in the engine compartment. Very common, for those to corrode and cause problems. There are whole bunch of those in the engine area. There is one under the battery tray also. Check the grounds under the windshield washer bottle. those also corrode and mess up your CAN system in the truck , resulting in no start condition. If you are 100% sure that your battery is good, than check all ground wires.
