Took of covers to oil speed omitor put some wires came off put back together and no elc. start or break light witch wire is not hooked up or in the wrong place

Sounds like , if the wires were in the wrong place it might have blown a fuse. Check the fuses to see if one is blown out.
If all the fuses are good then you probably need a diagram.
I like to use for diagrams. You could try that.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like a plastic grommet is broken. You'll have to raise the car and check the cables/linkage at each end. You'll probably find on one end that the grommet is missing. And you probably not be able to buy just the grommet. you will have to replace the entire cable.

there are two sensor's you need to look for. one goes in to the transfer case, other is in the rear diff on top. it also sends back information to the abs system and have been told if it is not working correctly that the speed omitor one may not work as well.

No trans lock. The clutch could be bad or the clutch master or slave cylinders. Check the fluid level in the clutch system resivoir. How does the clutch pedal feel? Is it firm and returning normally?
