If it's an auto, remove the cooler lines. Remove the upper and lower hoses. Remove the top bolts that attach the radiator hold down to the core support. Unplug the electric fan harness's and pull up on the radiator. Switch the fans with it out of the car to the new radiator and install in reverse of removal.

I didn't read the original post. I just noticed that all you're replacing is the fan switch. All you have to do is unplug it and use a deep socket and unscrew it and replace it.

Need to install a new head gasket on a 1995 honda civic dx model with a 1.5 liter engine- automatic transmission- i would like to be able to print out instructions and pictures to do the work myself.

You dont need a print out all you need a bit of thought and a set of tools and what you do is to Drain radiator, then remove rocker cover /all parts on head inc exhaust manifold /air filter and manifold etc then the belt and all parts till you get to head bolts and remove them and head assy send head away for checking and replace all parts in reverse of removal
same order and refill with coolant and start BUT
Make sure the timing belt is timed correctly

Replace radiator

They are not to bad you just have to unbolt the top and the fans. It slots in the bottom no bolts but it can be a bit stubborn to get out some times. It is a tight tight fit to get them in and out just make sure you do not mess up the fins or put a hole in it putting it in

Radiator fan not working

Hi. Check the bottom of the radiator or on the side, as you also have a temperature-sending switch. The switch must reach a certain temperature before sending a signal on to the fan relay.

The switch just screws into the radiator.

If you would like to contact me again about this or other problems, feel free to do so.
