I have a 2000 Nissan Xterra and the 2 blower fuses keep blowing causing the the heat not to work. When I went to switch out the fuses the first time the motor and heat worked right away but only for a minute or so when the fuses blew again. What would cause this to happen, is the blowor motor bad or could some other heating/cooling componen broken? Thanks,

You have a problem with the motor circuit drawing more amperage than the fuse will allow. it could be the motor itself, or something that is keep the motor from turning freely. otherwise it's a wiring problem. i would suggest unplugging the motor, and then turning on the fan. hopefully, if there is some short to ground, which sounds unlikely, the fuse will blow. otherwise i suggest replacing the blower motor. good luck!

Why would my 2003 Nissan Xterra A/C blower and radio lose power 2 days ago?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

There are three fuses and a relay that cover the blower. Radio probably has an inline fuse, but they are also monitored by the Body control Module.

Heater and ac blower not working nissan xterra

Have you checked your fuses? Most vehicles have a fuse for the blower. It could be as simple as a blown fuse. If the fuse for the blower is not blown, there's a possibility that the actual motor could have gone out. Thanks.

Nissan Xterra 2011 No heat just blow cold air, coolant level is full.

Most newer cars use vacuum from intake manifold to operate the flapper doors which select heat modes. A vacuum leak or dislodged line can cause this problem. As you replaced the evaporator I would suspect a line was broken or disconnected at that time.
