Do the rears need to be adjusted? could be causing extra wear and tear on the fronts. Also, make sure you are using organic pads, cerametallic will eat rotors that aren't high quality. . . .

Replaced everything in brake system including brake booster,calipers, pads, rotars still won't come to a complete stop It "coasts". To a stop no matter how hard I press on the brake.


Does it feel spongy when you press on pedal ? Sounds a lot like air in the hydraulic lines. Bleed the entire system again and check for leaks in all the lines. Maybe the bleed screws are loose.

My breaks wont work after changing the front rotars, calipars and pads. I bleed all four breaks starting with the back passenger side then back drivers side then front passenger side then front drivers...


As a general rule, if you have ABS you might have to cycle the pumps and valves to purge the old fluid out of the unit. This is either done via a dealer scan tool, a purge valve/bleeder valve on the ABS unit, or a less than ethical way. Drive your car and heavily engage the ABS, you know what I'm talking about.
Then you will need to repeat the bleeding process that you have already done.
Normal non ABS brakes, bleed once.
ABS brakes, bleed, cycle then bleed again.

Recently had brakes redone now i have heat on rotar and the brakes seem to be engaged how do i correct the problem


Check for propper brake fluid on system, somtimes human error can put power steering fluid intead of brake flluid. If this has ocurr, you must bleed all the brakes system. Sammyc47

Replaced brake pads, rotars and callipars and brakes feel spongey. did bleed all 4 callipars til fluid came out and replaced brake fluid in master cylinder, still spongey can't figure it out.


U need the special anti-lock brake (ABS) bleeder adapter to get the air out of the ABS hydraulic control unit, that is why the spongy feel the system is no completely bled of air unless you hook up the tool that holds the hydraulic control valves open for bleeding

The rubber brake hose can be clogged or collasped causing this problem Bleed the system of all brake fluid on this and try before replacing the hoses

What order are the brakes suppose to be bled in


Always bleed the brake that is the furthest away from the master cylinder.

If your master cylinder is located on the drivers side, (Left), you would bleed the Right rear brake.
Then the Left rear brake, Right front brake, and finally the Left front brake.

Right rear brake seizing up and pads are wearing out prematurely

you might want to change out the caliber ....

sounds like you have a bad caliber and it is sticking open so the brakes are locking up
