Question about 1998 Mazda 626
The ABS light won't go off. The garage has replaced the Wheel Speed Sensor, but the light still stays on most of the time. The mechanic said it was something to do with a pump unit which has let water in and shorted it out. Is this supposed to be a sealed unit? They told me it will be $600 for a new pump. Any ideas/comments?
Check the brake light bulbs as they can make the ABS light come on if burned out.
