Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT
Yesterday my passenger side rear view mirror housing was broken, the mirror and housing is now hanging from the power mirror cable. I found a mirror housing online, which I ordered, in the meantime I want to take off the current mirror and housing, so it does not cause any further damage. How do I remove the cable and mirror from the current broken housing?
There should be a plastic cover on the inside of the car where the mirror is take this off and there will be a connector block unplug this and there should be screws undo them and the whole thing should come off themn and you should be able to seperate them then.
