Question about 1986 Volkswagen Wagon Camper

2 Answers

Westfalia 89 when I turn my faucet the water is not pumping to the sink, there is no noise of the pump even working. I looked at all the connections and they all seem fine, I tried all the fuses and reset buttons but no change, what else should I look at or try?

Take the screw out of the top off the faucet knob.
Inside, you'll find electrical contacts that get corroded.
That's what was wrong with mine.

What is causing rattling grinding noise at idle especially in my 89 4.5 DeVille?

The technique I always used to identify where such a noise was coming from was to use a very long screwdriver (2 feet long), while the engine is running. CAREFULLY touch the screwdriver end to each pulley or other object under the hood, and put your ear to the handle. The device making the noise will become very clear.

It could be AC pump/clutch, alternator, water pump, power steering pump, etc.

How do I change the windshield washer pump on 2002 kia optima

Windshield washer pumps are attached to the windshield washer fluid container. Remove that container and look for the washer pump. That is the only item with two wires connected to it. First remove hose connected to the washer pump and turn the washer switch on. IF water flows from the washer, your water lines are clogged, if no water flows, your washer pump maybe dead or there is no power going to the washer pump.

Try testing IF current is passing/present at the two wires by connecting as continuity tester or simply a small lamp. Switch the washer on and see if the bulb gets lit, if it does, there is power and your problem is the washer pump itself. Replace the pump.
