Question about 1995 Nissan 200SX

1 Answer

Tail lights on

Hi,

I tried starting my car, it just won't start. Tried jump starting it, it would honk everytime i tried it. Had to remove the fuse to stop honking.

Guys at pepboys mentioned, there is something in the brake pedal which causes tail lights to be on which eventually discharges the battery. Will have to show it to dealer.

Can someone please tell me what is the issue.. How much would it cost to repair it. Thanks for your advice

2003 lexus es300 won't start... radio lights and windows work. Tried a jump start, still doesnt work...

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

Truck won't start but the horn honks when I turn the key.

Sound like a wire loose. could be the earth cable to the engine, or the main power cable from the battery to the fuse box/ignition switch/starter.

1992 dash and tail lights not working

Im having the same problem now. Let me know if you find a solution please. By jumping the orange wire to the red, my dash and taillights came on but i tried wiring them together with a fuse connected to the new wire and crimped both ends so I didn't have to cut and splice since there's not much wire to work with.. and well the lights would come on but blow the fuse everytime I turned them off

Fuse blowing

I agree. I would start by inspecting from the tail lights wiring and move up. You will have to remove interior pannels to see the harness.
