Question about 1998 Isuzu Rodeo
The guest is right...there is no dipstick. there are 2 plugs and the one you want is called the overflow plug. it is smaller than the drain plug and in a recess.

THEIR IS NO DIPSTICK FOR THE TRANSMISSION, TO CHECK LEVEL REMOVE PLUG OR MAY HAVE A SIGHT GLASS TO SEE LEVEL

I don't know exactly. I've seen them accessible from right under the hood and I've seen them down just on top of the transmission (very short stick). The best thing for you to know exactly where they are and to fix anything else on your ride is to get a Haynes Repair Manual. SOURCE: Is the dipstick middle left
transmission oil is red pull the dipstick out & check the color, also the transmission dipstick is a lot longer than the engine dipstick......hope this helps.....cheers
