The 2004 Santa Fe transmission doesn't have a serviceable filter. There's one deep inside the transmission, but the transmission needs to be removed and disassembled to get to it. The only time that filter would be replaced is if the transmission were overhauled. This is the answer I found online, and after trying to change the filter on a 2002 Santa Fe.

I have a hyundai Santa FE 2,0 gasolin 2WD. I can not locate the fuel filter. Can anyone help

I looked at the hyundai tech site, and at a santa fe owners manual, and at autozone.com. No help from anywhere. I would recommend calling a dealership and asking them. If you dont know of one you can pester my dealership: 814-942-2222 ask for hyundai service.
