98 LeSabre AC vent

The AC doesn't blow thru the center vents it blows thru the windshield and floor vents that is after the center has been selected. After driving for a longer distance the center vents work at about 50 %

a/c won't come out of the dash vents. will eventually move to the vents after the car has been running for a period of time. the time is getting longer for the shift to the dash vents. mechanic recommended a $700.00 module. this is on a 1998 buick lesabre.

    Thanks

1994 Buick Lasabre only blows in floor or windsheild no matter mode selected I know how to fix it by replacing the mode door actuator my problem is no part store knows how to find it

I have the same problem, I checked out the vacuum actuator loacated to the left of the radio. The dark blue vacuum line runs the actuator. I traced the actuator lines backt to a control behind the glove box. I have tried to get that control out but no luck so far.

same problem for me. I moved the vacuum blue, white, orange, and green lines around since I was trying to see if it made any changes. But nope.

I took a day and opened the whole dash up and the AC unit itself to see if something got stuck inside. NOPE. Freaking A! All the lines look great, the vacuum tank, etc also looks fine.

I have a 98 Buick Lesabre Limited. It blows Cool air, but not Cold. And also, I can't seem to make it blow out of the Center Dash Vents.

Cornelius, vent problem could be a pinched or loose vacuum line on controller, faulty AC vacuum motor, faulty AC programmer, etc. needs to be checked out by a good Tech, diagnosed and estimate on repair.
As far as vehicle only blowing cool air, issue could be blend door issue, plugged AC condenser core dirt/debris, low AC refrigerant, plugged AC lines internal, failing compressor, etc., again should be checked out, diagnosed and estimate for repair by a good Tech.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Heat and air wont blow through vents

The selection door, is operated by 1/4" vacuum hoses. When turning the knob or sliding a lever, to select between floor, vents, or dash deck for windshield defrost, vacuum is created by the valve body and the blower will then blow thru the desired vents. When these hoses/lines are compromised, especially on a vehicle over 15 years old it seems likely, vacuum won't be created, and the last working position, is normally where it stays! Until the lines are replaced.
Good luck.

1999 durango vent control switch will not let AC blow threw vents only defrost

Usually this is a problem with the blend doors under the dash. You either have a vac leak, a dead motor, or a faulty door.
The control opens and closes the doors to direct air thru the heater core and evaporator core along with directing air thru the vents.
When a problem occurs, the default position is the defrost vents to make sure the windshield remains clear.
You can do an internet search for "repair durango blend door" for more info.

I have a 1999 Buick LeSabre. My AC blows cold air out my windshield and floor vents but not out of my mid or panel vents.

the vents are run on vacuum so if you get the others just not vent sounds to me like you need to find your junction and see if all the hoses are hooked up. mine was passenger side above where ur feet go. All that usually happens is a hose came off and u need to put it back on sometimes they break but u will be able to see once u find it.

A/C only from center vent. Heat from side vents and floor vents.

sounds like the blend motor from hot to cold is stuck open half way allowing both temps to come into the car.

No heat - ac stays on blowing through defrost vents

If you have the heater directed to the windshield, the AC will turn on. Move the control away from defrost.
